  • What is Theileria?
Theileriosis is a tick borne disease that infects both red and white blood cells of cattle, the Theileria parasite is transmitted by Bush and Wallaby Ticks and is endemic in Coastal regions of NSW, Victoria and Queensland. Bodalla is a known Theileria zone, all our animals will have been exposed to Theileria throughout the course of their life. For producers in Theileria zones you can comfortably assume that all our bulls have been exposed to the parasite and will not succumb to the disease once they arrive at your property. We will back this claim with a full money back guarantee - if you purchase a bull from us and it subsequently dies from Theileria we will refund the full price of your purchase. For producers outside of the Theileria zone there are absolutely no consequences of purchasing a bull that has been exposed to Theileria, in fact it will future proof them should the disease ever enter your area.
  • Can you assist with transport?
Yes, we have a range of transport operators who can assist with delivery of any animals purchased. Have a chat with us for the details.

All our cattle are registered with Angus Australia and all have published EBVs available. The EBVs are based on the genomic profile of each individual animal using DNA samples taken as calves.
